DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

This page explains how to request deletion of your Woodsystems account and the data associated with it. The Woodsystems mobile app and platform are operated by Woodsystems Software Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), headquartered in Kansas, USA.

How to request account deletion

  1. Send an email to jeff@woodsystems.com from the email address associated with your Woodsystems account.
  2. Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
  3. In the message, include the full name and email address on your account (and your company / organization name, if known) so we can locate it.
  4. We will verify the request, process the deletion described below, and confirm by email when it is complete.

We aim to action verified requests within 30 days. If we need additional information to verify your identity or locate your account, we will reply to the email you sent.

Data that is deleted

When we action your request, we delete the personal data tied to your individual login:

  • Push notification tokens (the device identifiers used to send you mobile notifications)
  • Login sessions (active sessions and stored authentication tokens, signing you out of all devices)
  • Profile photos (your uploaded profile / avatar image)

Data that is retained

Woodsystems is a business-to-business platform. The records you create and work with belong to your employer or organization (the paying "tenant"), not to your individual account. To preserve the integrity of that organization's business records, the following data is retained for as long as the paying organization (tenant) chooses to keep it:

  • Data associated with your email address (e.g. your name on historical records and activity)
  • Jobs and job history
  • Job assignments (jobs assigned to or worked by you)
  • Project manager assignments and other organizational records

Retention period: this organizational data is kept as long as the paying tenant wants to retain it. It is deleted when the tenant directs us to delete it, or when the tenant's account with Woodsystems is closed and its retention window elapses. If you want this organizational data removed, please contact your organization's Woodsystems administrator, who can request its deletion on the organization's behalf.
