Does Woodsystems do MES-style machine scheduling?
It offers a day-by-day production schedule with machine lanes as an optional capability, and cut lists by material. It does not attempt full MES control of a large plant.
Can Woodsystems read files from 2020 design software?
Drawings and documents of any type attach to the job, and job files sync to Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox. It does not replace the design tool.
Is Woodsystems for a manufacturer with hundreds of employees?
Its sweet spot is the owner-led and midsize custom shop. A large plant with formal MES requirements should weigh 2020 Insight seriously.
